Organized Learning System Empowers Teachers
The evidence-based Moving with Math Learning System was developed to empower teachers with an organized, systematic process to raise achievement for every student. It is easy to use and streamlines intervention management by integrating standards-aligned assessments to direct data-driven, personalized CRA instruction with continuous progress monitoring. The Learning System provides teachers with the structure and resources to close learning gaps, build foundational skills, and increase proficiency to grade-level standards.
Research-Based CRA Instruction
At the heart of all Moving with Math programs are engaging lessons that use the research-based CRA instructional model. Lessons are carefully scaffolded to blend explicit instruction with inquiry-based strategies. Students of all learning styles and languages develop conceptual understanding and experience success as they use manipulatives to explore, discover and communicate the patterns of math.

Universal Screening
Integrated assessments by objective matched to national and state standards develop a detailed road map for data-driven, focused instruction to close learning gaps and build fluency.
Comprehensive Lesson Plans Set Educators and Students up for Success
Lesson plans save prep time and help teachers, tutors or paraprofessional facilitate engaging hands-on activities, differentiate instruction, monitor progress, and set their students up for success.

Detailed lesson-plan structure and research-based strategies help teachers guide students from the Concrete through the Representational to the Abstract stage of learning. Educators are supported in leading CRA instruction, even if they haven’t taught with manipulatives before.
Lesson plans also give educators a multitude of follow-up activities and enrichment opportunities with Read to Me children’s stories to connect math to the real world and lots of Games to deepen their understanding in a fun way. There are also Family Math Connections available in English and Spanish to engage students’ families in support of their math learning.

Continuous Progress Monitoring
The Learning System integrates assessments for continuous progress monitoring through Daily Reviews, Weekly Check Points, Unit Quizzes and Benchmark Tests, which assess progress and keep teaching focused for maximum achievement gains. They also aid in long-term retention by continuously spiraling and reviewing previously learned objectives.
Lesson plans also include a variety of formative assessment options to monitor fluency and gather evidence of mastery of objectives.
