ELL, ESL, Emergent Bilingual and Newcomers

Moving with Math® evidence-based programs were developed over 40 years ago to meet the needs of ELL students.

Programs integrate formative assessments by objective to develop a detailed roadmap for differentiated instruction focusing learning for targeted growth.

Engaging lessons using the research-based Concrete-Representational-Abstract (CRA) instructional model provide a sequence of experiences to develop conceptual understanding and procedural fluency critical for students to build a strong foundation in math.

Using this flexible and unique system, all students can become successful in math no matter their level of preparedness, learning styles or spoken languages.

Engaging Student Activities Build a Solid Foundation

Hands-on manipulative activities introduce and explore every essential math concept.

Lessons provide explicit instruction with strategies to aid students with diverse needs and different learning styles gain success.

Scaffolded instruction by grade level or strand helps students build understanding of key math concepts.
