49% Passed 27 WHERE: Upper Darby Public Schools, Drexel, Pennsylvania WHO: 5000 students in grades 1, 3, 4, and 6 WHEN: Summer School PURPOSE: To use the Moving with Math ® Extensions program to help students with low test scores succeed in math Upper Darby School District, Pennsylvania INCREASE IN STUDENTS PASSING Of those students who did not pass the Pre-Test, 49% passed the Post-Test. INCREASE IN MEAN SCORES The percent of students passing in the four grades combined increased from 35% to 65%, an 87% increase. The mean score for the combined grades increased from 55% to 71%, a 28% increase. CHANGE WITHIN THE NON-PASSING GROUP
