56% Passed 26 Stafford Summer School, Virginia CHANGE WITHIN THE NON-PASSING GROUP WHERE: Stafford, Virginia WHO: Math Enrichment Program for grades 6–8 WHEN: Summer School PURPOSE: To use the Moving with Math ® Extensions program to raise passing rates Of the 232 students who did not pass the Pre-Test, 131 of them (56%)  passed the Post-Test. INCREASE IN STUDENTS PASSING The percent of increase ranged from 126% in grade 6 to 204% in grade 8. The overall percent of increase in passing students in grades 6, 7, and 8 was 157%. The percent of increase in mean scores ranged from 26% in grade 6 to 28% in grade 7. The average gain for all students was 27%. INCREASE IN MEAN SCORES
