46 D4 Standards The Diagnostic-Prescriptive System The diagnostic-prescriptive system is based on the results of the Pre-and Post-Tests found inside the teacher kit, Math Capsules . The number of each problem on the Pre-Test matches the number of the objective being tested. After teachers administer and correct these tests, the results can be recorded on an individual record sheet or class record sheet. Teachers mark an X in the box under the number of each problem missed on the Pre-Test. The completed record sheet can be used to identify unmastered objectives within each level and prescribe the matching pages for each objective. Level D4: Geometry & Measurement teaches geometry objectives 29–33, and 52–54 and measurement objectives 34–41, 46–47, 55, and 56, in Level D. The objectives and teaching pages are listed in this table. Name polygons with up to 10 sides. D-32 Identify congruent figures and their corresponding parts. Construct 18–20 32-1 to 32-4 congruent lines, angles, and triangles. D-33 Find the measure of a missing angle when the angles are complementary, 21–23 33-1, 33-2 supplementary, vertical or adjacent. Knows the relationship of angles made when parallel lines are cut by a transversal. D-52 Know the sum of the angles in a triangle and in a quadrilateral. Find the 24–26 52-1 to 52-3 missing angle in a triangle and quadrilateral. D-53 Identify corresponding sides of similar figures. Know the relationship between 27, 28 53-1, 53-2 corresponding angles and sides of similar figures.
