This carefully scaffolded curriculum uses research-based strategies to engage struggling math students AND provides an organized system for teachers. The lower reading comprehen- sion level and extra white space makes learning accessible for Special Education and ELL students. An independent study documented statistically significant achievement gains with the Basic and Below Basic students showing the greatest gains.
