Pre-Test results identify the strengths and weaknesses of individual students. They may be used as a basis for directing differentiated instruction or for an Individual Education Plan (IEP), or as a basis for communicating with family and home. Post-Test results measure student progress and identify the need for additional intervention. The Student Progress Report is especially helpful in addressing the needs of Tier 3 students. REPORTS 3 Step Teacher Support The Student Progress Report can help answer questions like: 1. Which are the student’s weakest skills? 2. Are weak skills clustered in certain skill areas? 3. What should be the focus of differentiated instruction for this student?
