Students Grouped by Test Results Students are placed into groups based on their test scores. Screen Instructions: • This report is used to group students based on their test scores. It can also be used to suggest cut scores for tiers 1, 2, and 3. 1. 70–100% Correct (Tier 1) – This group is already passing the Pre-Test. Provide these students with additional opportunities such as journal prompts and more difficult assignments. They will also be of assistance when partnered with tier 3. 2. 41–69% Correct (Tier 2) – This group usually represents about one half of the class. Many of these students will be able to pass the Post-Test. 3. 0–40% Correct (Tier 3) – This group will benefit most from individualized or small group instruction with basic concepts.
